CURIO ROCK SAMPHIRE GIN | CORNWALL

Curio Spirits is a small-batch distillery creating artisan spirits inspired by fragrant botanicals and natural ingredients that reflect the culture and heritage of its Cornish roots, taking provenance and purity to another level.

Hand-crafted in Mullion, Cornwall, Curio is the outcome of years of hard work, dedication, and a love of the sublime by husband and wife team, William and Rubina Tyler-Street. Curio’s signature spirit is Curio Rock Samphire Gin. The quadruple-distilled premium gin is infused with 15 fragrant botanicals including Kombu seaweed and the staple rock samphire.

Saddlers Serving Suggestion: We recommend trying it neat with just ice and a garnish. Delicious.

mermaid gin | Isle of wight

Mermaid Gin is a premium, small-batch gin from the first and only distillery on the Isle of Wight. An infusion of carefully selected, locally sourced botanicals captures the essence of this beautiful island.

Hand-picked rock samphire from the chalk cliffs, foraged elderflower and Boadicea hops from the famous botanical gardens are blended with English coriander, fresh lemon zest, Grains of Paradise, angelica root, liquorice root, orris root and juniper. The gin is slow distilled, rested for seven days and cut with local spring water to give its characteristically smooth delivery and fresh invigorating flavour.

Saddlers Serving Suggestion: For the perfect G&T try a Naked Mermaid – fill a glass with ice, a generous measure of Mermaid Gin and double that of a quality tonic and let the seductive flavours shine through.

Ramsbury Gin & Vodka | Marlborough

Ramsbury Gin and Vodka is a rare thing and one of the few single estate gins and vodkas made in the UK today.

Using a completely sustainable approach, including farming, forestry, brewing and distilling, their spirits go from field to table from the heart of Wiltshire. Ramsbury gin and vodka starts its journey on the estate as Horatio wheat.

They then distil it though their 43 plate copper still, creating a base spirit that gives their gin and vodka an incredibly smooth texture.

Saddlers Serving Suggestion: A proper Indian tonic, lots of ice and a wafer thin slice of apple, quince or pear make all the difference.

Black cow vodka | dorset

Black Cow is made entirely from the milk of grass-grazed cows and distilled on England’s West Dorset coast.

Whey has historically been the problem child of the dairy industry. There is an excess produced in the cheese making process. Black Cow take this under-valued by-product and turn it into a superior premium vodka.

Fresh whole milk makes an exceptionally smooth vodka with a unique and creamy character and the mineral-free nature of our vodka gives it an incredible softness that holds delicate flavours beautifully.

Saddlers Serving Suggestion: Serve neat at room temperature.

WINCHESTER DRY GIN | HAMPSHIRE

Winchester Dry Gin™, launched on world gin day 2017 at the great hall in Winchester, is tribute to Winchester Distillery’s home city and inspired by King Arthur's round table hanging in the hall.

It uses 25 medieval botanicals commonly used in food and medicine in the period; one for each Knight seated at the table with King Arthur himself on the throne at the head of the table represented by Juniper.

Rich and complex, this is a unique gin with great depth of flavour and subtle herbal nuances from the wide list of (secret) medieval botanicals.

Saddlers Serving Suggestion: For a deliciously rich G&T try mixing with Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic and garnish with sprigs of Rosemary & Thyme and wheel of lemon.

Located just down the road from Saddlers HQ, Danish Master Brewer Stig Anker Andersen and his wife Anna Marie Andersen moved from Denmark in 1993 and bought the brewery which was an Old Mill at Netheravon to embark on a long, challenging road of brewing award-winning, handcrafted English beers.

Each of their beers are brewed to its own recipe by the traditional infusion mash method, using only the finest quality malt and whole hops and Stonehenge Spring Water to produce beers of monumental taste.
